The Space

Hidden in 600 acres of vineyards, forest and fynbos outside Cape Town, South Africa, is the luxurious Lalapanzi Lodge. Escape to the peace and tranquillity of the unspoilt natural surroundings with the convenience of being close to Somerset West. This stylish vineyard retreat is the perfect place to unwind or use as a base to explore the Cape.

Weddings

Lalapanzi is the perfect venue to host a small, intimate wedding. We create personalised wedding packages for 8 – 24 guests. As we’re a small venue we tailor-make all weddings to your individual needs.  Depending on the season and day of the week, we require you to rent out our rooms instead of charging a venue hire. This gives you exclusive use of the Lodge and enables you to accommodate guests from afar.  All our food is prepared by our own qualified chef and we are fully licensed. Receptions can be held in our dining room, on the balcony, in the conference room or on the front lawn.

Accommodation

The Main Lodge boasts four luxury en-suite B&B rooms and one suite, all of which have lovely sea views and air-conditioning.  We have 2 self-catering lodges with fully equipped open-plan kitchens.   Skaap Huis is a luxury villa surrounded by 3 hectares of vineyards. From the east patio you have a magnificent view over the vineyard onto the Hottentot Holland mountains. On the west patio you have your own pool and gas BBQ area. This beautiful 4 bedroom house is ideal for families and friends.

Conferences

Conference packages are tailor-made to meet your exact requirements and we prepare our meals to meet all dietary requirements. There’s a fully equipped conference room, a cosy living room for breakaway sessions, and a large dining room for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Maximum of 15 delegates seated u-shaped or 30 cinema style.
