The Space

Joubertsdal, founded in 1792, is one of the oldest farmsteads in the area and is situated along the R60-highway just 17km outside Swellendam, right at the foot of the majestic Langeberg Mountain surrounded by 400 hectares of farmland and natural fynbos.  Joubertsdal remains true to its farm style charm while at the same time offering guests all they need for a comfortable midweek or weekend escape. Spend your days lazing by the pool or curled up beside the fireplace.

Joubertsdal offers a modern venue for weddings or any special event and accommodates up to 160 guests.  The bridal party and guests will enjoy exclusive use of the entire 400 hectares farm for the duration of your special event.

Venue

The venue accommodates up to 160 guests however smaller gatherings are just as intimate due to the architecture of the building.  A blank canvas to style and decorate to your heart’s desire.

Chapel

The Chapel is under the same roof as the venue and has its own private entrance which keeps the two areas separate. Seating is available for 160 guests.

Lawns

With views of the majestic mountains, enjoy the manicured lawns for your drinks and canapé reception and lawn games.

Accommodation

Neanderhöle, offers guests complete privacy with every detail for the ultimate luxury farm getaway. This country house sleeps up to 10 guests.

The Cottage is a quaint 2 bedroomed space with a kitchenette and one bathroom. Ideal for a family, close friends. The main bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has 2 singles.

Mountain View Cottage 1 & 2 with uninterrupted views of our mountain our 2 cottages are the ideal break away for couples wanting to relax and unwind. Features include a Kol Kol Hottub, outside braai area and inside fireplace.

Nooitgedacht Country House is a Moroccan style home which exudes romantic charm with its own pool.  Fully equipped for self-catering, including the added convenience of a coffee machine and ice machine.It consists of 4 bedrooms each en-suite. There is a 5th and 6th bedroom too, ideally for children or family with 2 singles in each.  This house sleeps a total of 12 guests.
